I'm raising money for my dad, Nevin. We found out in the past few weeks that he has rectal cancer and has to do both radiation and chemo for the next 12 months and then possible surgery. My dad is a construction worker, and with the radiation and chemo, he won't be able to work, and he has barely any money saved. Our mom passed away this past year, so he has no help, especially with the bills, and he is raising me and my 16-year-old brother alone. Not only are we worried about all of the medical bills along with the house bills, but also the money needed for raising my younger brother and me. I'm not saying we deserve it more than others, but absolutely anything helps, and we will be grateful for everything.
