Hi folks!

On April 22nd, due to a rapid heart rate, I was medically evacuated from the foreign country where I work.

Because we’re in a remote 3rd world country, the overzealous medic, with an abundance of caution, decided this was the best course of action. My view was different, but I had no say in the matter.

This unleashed a chain of events, official procedures, and a ton of bureaucratic red tape that is still strangling me and preventing me from going back to work.

Some of you may know that for the past 10 years before their passing, I was paying for the home health care first for my dad and later my mom, and eventually became buried in over 200K in debt due to these expenses.

But the debt was getting paid off!

So, I was already in a vulnerable financial state when my medical situation happened.

Without work since April, I have completely run out of money, life has unraveled, and I’m sleeping in a dirty hostel in Los Angeles trying to sort this out.

I'm a pretty proud guy and am humiliated that I have to ask friends and family for help. That should tell you how desperate I am.

But this wouldn’t be a donation as I would want and expect to pay back anyone who gives to the cause! Once I get back to work, it will take a few months to accomplish this.

Updated July 7th:

I just got a clean bill of health from my cardiologist, but due to government procedures, it will take me another 3 weeks to clear.

This extended time off has completely destroyed my finances and my soul.

Humbly asking for any help!
