I spent Christmas in the hospital with sepsis and seratonin syndrome, ended up in the er 2 weeks later with numbness and pain in my hands and forearms-extremely problematic since I use my hands for everything due to paralysis from a 2011 spinal cord injury. Then last Friday, as Maverick was driving to get his temps hours, we were struck on the highway-in my new car-and I was taken by squad with painful lower back spasms. The responsible party has yet to be identified. In the meantime, we are without a vehicle. Ava relies on me to get to and from work. Maverick relies on me to pick him up 40 minutes a week.

Any money received will go towards a rental car until the responsible party is identified, and possible vehicle repairs if it’s not totaled. This experience has put me in a vulnerable position, as I’m typically independent and hate asking for help, but being on a fixed income I can’t do this alone. Any amount is appreciated, or even sharing this post.
