Aid Naomi's Transition to Sober Living

Thank you for taking the time to check out my GoFundMe! I’m Naomi, an alcoholic and addict. I have been through many internal and external challenges in my life and finally realized that drugs and alcohol were not the solution. I am currently over 2 months sober (and counting) and am feeling better than ever. Due to the trauma I have been through, I am diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I decided to go to rehab in Riverview, Florida, and realized that regardless of what had happened in the past, I can overcome the challenges life throws at me, and I am much stronger and happier in a sober state.

I moved to California to stay at a sober living house as they take insurance, and due to lack of funds, I was unable to go to a sober living facility in Florida as they charge about $200 a week. I am asking for donations so that I am able to afford my monthly insurance premium, get groceries, pay for copays for medications and doctors visits, and for personal items as sober living does not provide all the necessities. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated as I am in the process of being transferred to a sober house in San Diego. These funds will help support me until I am able to find employment once I am in San Diego.
