Help My Uncle Rebuild After Devastating Flood Loss. Funds will go towards housing and transportation.

My uncle, Jeff Green, has always been a hard worker, living paycheck to paycheck and recently achieving the huge milestone of paying off his small home just this past March. Tragically, the flash flooding in West Virginia swept away everything he owned—his house, both of his vehicles, and, most heartbreakingly, the cat he doted on daily. The flood also destroyed hundreds of years’ worth of carefully curated family history—photos, documents, and irreplaceable memories he spent years preserving.

On top of this, he’s been struggling with health issues that cost him his job of over 20 years, leaving him with no income or safety net. Any one of these events would be devastating on its own, but experiencing all of them at once is truly overwhelming.

He now faces the daunting task of starting over with nothing, all while trying to heal and find new employment. He didn’t have flood insurance, and only had liability coverage on his two well-worn vehicles. Any support you can give will help him rebuild his life, replace essential items, and find hope in this incredibly difficult time.
