I’m creating this fundraiser for one of the most brilliant, kind-hearted, and talented people I know — Benjamin Cyril Arthur, a Ghanaian writer whose words have moved readers across continents.

Benjamin was recently awarded a prestigious scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in the UK. This is a huge achievement — not just for him, but for the powerful, necessary stories he’s determined to tell.

His writing explores love, identity, queerness, and freedom — all rooted in his experiences

Now, Benjamin has the chance to hone his craft and bring even more stories to life on a global stage.
