As some of our friends and family may already know, a few months ago we received some unfortunate news. My dad has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is a very tough situation but there’s still a chance for him with surgery. Unfortunately the surgery he needs is quite pricy and we are not prepared for the short amount of time in which he needs it done.

These past few months have been quite stressful for my family. Over the past few months, we’ve spent more time going in and out of the hospitals than we have in our entire lives up until now. Unfortunately all the costs of all the tests and medical procedures he under went to get a diagnosis have been quite overwhelming financially, and time is something we can’t afford to lose. That’s why I’m reaching out, humbly and from the bottom of my heart — asking for your help. Whether it’s a donation, or a prayer, every bit means the world to us.

Como algunos de nuestros amigos y familiares ya sabrán, hace unos meses recibimos una noticia muy difícil. A mi papá le diagnosticaron cáncer de páncreas. Es una situación muy dura, pero aún hay una oportunidad para él con una cirugía. Lamentablemente, la cirugía que necesita es bastante costosa y no estamos preparados para cubrirla en el poco tiempo en el que se requiere realizarla.

Estos últimos meses han sido muy estresantes para mi familia. Hemos pasado más tiempo entrando y saliendo de hospitales que en toda nuestra vida hasta ahora. Desafortunadamente, todos los costos de los exámenes y procedimientos médicos que tuvo que hacerse para obtener un diagnóstico han sido financieramente abrumadores, y el tiempo es algo que no podemos darnos el lujo de perder. Por eso hoy recurro a ustedes, con humildad y desde lo más profundo de mi corazón — pidiéndoles su ayuda. Ya sea una donación o una oración, cada pequeño gesto significa el mundo para nosotros.

Si pueden aportar algo, por mínimo que sea, sepan que irá directamente a la cirugía de mi papá.
