Aid My 24 Year Old Daughter After Devastating Car Crash

Hi, my name is Evelyn, and I’m writing this on behalf of my daughter, Jessica Garcia.

On May 24th, sometime between 6:00 and 6:39 PM, I got a call no mother ever wants to receive — my 24-year-old daughter had just been in a car accident in Moorestown, NJ.

Jessica had recently purchased a 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid — a car she worked hard to afford and gifted to herself as a symbol of healing and progress. But now, that car is damaged, possibly totaled. She was hit after another driver ran a stop sign. Jessica had the right of way, and once again, the accident was not her fault.

Jessica is a full-time master’s student and works part-time to support herself. She is a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who always shows up for others. But right now, she needs others to show up for her.

This isn’t the first time Jessica has been through something like this. Three years ago, while stopped at a red light near her school, she was hit by a speeding driver. Her car was crushed, and she sustained several injuries that took her years to recover from. That experience was traumatic — physically, emotionally, and financially.

To now be facing another accident, again not her fault, is devastating. She has a sprained thumb, cuts, and bruises. She uses her hands every day for work and has had to take time off to recover, creating even more financial pressure. She also discovered that her insurance coverage is not providing the full support she thought it would — meaning repair costs, insurance increases, and rental car expenses are now falling directly on her shoulders.
