Aid Morty's Journey to Health and Happiness

Hi! I’m Alison, Mort’s mom! I adopted Morty about one month ago at nine months old from a rescue and unfortunately we have run into some major GI health issues. We’re still figuring out what’s going on but Mort had to be taken to the ER vet last week due to a rectal prolapse. We’re working on getting him on the right diet and with time we will get a good rhythm going. Vet bills hit me hard at over $1500 in just a few days. I’m a single cat mom with two precious babies and would greatly appreciate any help at all.

Mortimer is the most loving kitten I have ever met! Everywhere I walk he’s right there purring, just waiting for me to sit down so he can join and rub his little face on mine. The moment you touch him the purring starts! He loves playing with his older cat sister and really lives up to the annoying little brother stereotype. The two are already perfect siblings!

I work two jobs already as well a couple side gigs and have been able to make it alone in the Bay Area but these bills have been a major setback. I am not giving up on Mort and while I’m still picking up more shifts there’s always more vet bills on the way along with the looming possibility of surgery to stop this from happening repeatedly. Again, any help at all is appreciated. This is going to take time and money to help my little Mortimer’s tummy get back on track. Thank you!
