Aid Moose's and Woody's Journey
Donation protected
We saved two dogs from the shelter.
Moose is a 12-year-old, geriatric Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix and was owner-surrendered. He has bad alopecia and had a vet visit to address it. The vet fees and medication, as well as flea meds, are shown in the photo. A wonderful person in Canada who is a dog trainer wants to take him into her dog farm and help rehome him, as she has done with dogs in the past off the euthanasia list. However, transport costs about $750 per dog to Canada.
Woody was a stray who was saved from the shelter intake line. He was fostered by his finder for 3 weeks, and she was unable to find his original owners. She took him to multiple shelters, and each turned her away due to overcrowding. We took him in and have also been unable to find his owners. We are working to rehome him now, but he had a vet visit due to fleas and requiring vaccinations. The fees from the visit are attached in a photo, too.
If you have it in your hearts to contribute, please do. Anything helps!
