Aid MJ's Journey to Health and Recovery

Hi! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Mindy. I’ve been in MJ’s life now for almost 2 years. He’s been struggling this past month with lots of medical issues. It started with stomach pain, turning into having his gallbladder removed, then he got diagnosed with pancreatitis. As if that wasn’t enough, his heart went into Afib, and they had to shock it back into a regular rhythm, and they were treating him for possible infections internally. We were all hopeful that he was on the road to recovery when he went into an inpatient rehab center. Unfortunately, he's back in the hospital today, Tuesday, April 29th, 2025. He's got a cyst that has developed on his pancreas from the pancreatitis and infections it's caused. There are more procedures he will be undergoing in the upcoming days. There isn't a known date he will be leaving the hospital at this point. The timing is hard for MJ as he will be missing lots of softball games and unable to do any umpiring for a while. We all know how much he loves softball and how active he typically is. I'm reaching out to everyone as a request for some help. We all know that MJ is the first to help others, and it's our time to help him back. We are looking for help to pay for his medical expenses and all other bills while he is out of work for an undetermined amount of time.
