A hardworking, single mom of 4 children ages 16, 8, 3, and 1. MistyBlue is a very active outdoors enthusiast. She loves spending time with her kids outside fishing, hunting, gardening, or just enjoying a nice hike through the woods. Also, a very avid reader. She loves to get lost in a book any time she can.

She has worked for over 21 years in 2 different nursing homes, providing wonderful care for people. She has a very upbeat attitude and is loved by her residents. Misty has a fun sense of humor and is just a joy to be around.

A large tumor has recently been discovered inside of her skull called an acoustic neuroma, and she will need an emergency craniotomy surgery to get it out. The surgeons say she will be out of work for 3 months while she recovers. This is a very serious surgery, but Misty is strong and is expected to make a good recovery.

Being out of work for 3 months will, unfortunately, cause financial struggles. The unknown medical bills, unknown prescription costs, physical therapy, and just the everyday bills like electric, water, car insurance, and the general costs of living, are just a few of the challenges that await Misty after her surgery.
