Help Mimi & Her Fiancé Raff Rebuild After Tragic House Fire
On the evening of August 2nd, a devastating fire consumed a home north of Boulder Creek on Highway 9. That home belonged to our dear friend and veterinary clinic team member, Mimi, and her fiancé Raff.
In a matter of minutes, their entire world changed.
While we are deeply grateful that both Mimi and Raff made it out alive, they lost everything. Their home, all of their belongings, and most heartbreakingly, all of their beloved pets :(.
As a veterinary professional, Mimi has devoted her life to the care and love of animals. Her pets were not just companions; they were family. The pain of losing them is immeasurable.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Mimi and Raff have been left with only the clothes they were wearing. They now face the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from nothing, while carrying the emotional weight of their loss.
We are raising funds to help them cover:
Emergency housing and living expenses
Replacing essential items (clothing, toiletries, household needs)
Long-term rebuilding and relocation costs
Memorial support to honor their beloved pets
Let’s Show Up for Someone Who’s Always Shown Up for Us
Mimi is an incredibly kind, hard-working, and compassionate person who has helped care for so many animals in our community. She’s been there for others during their hardest moments. Now we ask our community to wrap her in the same love and support.
Please donate if you can.
If you're unable to contribute financially, simply sharing this campaign is a powerful way to help.
On behalf of everyone at the Boulder Creek Veterinary Clinic—thank you for standing by Mimi and Raff as they begin the long road toward healing and rebuilding. ❤️
