Hello, my name is Layne McGowen and I am trying to raise some money to help a close friend and coworker, Mike Valdez, who completely lost everything in the Eaton Fire that is currently going on east of Los Angeles. He and his wife and young daughter made it out safely, but lost the house with everything in it, including their vehicle. They had only recently moved into their new home. They currently do not have a permanent place to stay, but are temporarily with family.
