Aid Michael Hamric's Fight for Health and Stability

Hi, my name is Joshua Younker, and I am fundraising for my father, Michael Hamric.

A few months ago, my dad went in for what was supposed to be a simple outpatient hernia repair. But during the procedure, a surgical accident resulted in a sliced colon. What should have been a routine recovery spiraled into a life-threatening medical crisis.

Since then, he has endured multiple complications, including a severe infection, an open abdominal wound, and a fistula leaking digestive fluids outside his body. Instead of healing at home, he has been trapped in the hospital for months, undergoing one setback after another, with no clear end in sight.

On top of the physical toll, this situation has created a devastating financial crisis. My dad is the sole proprietor and owner-operator of a carpet cleaning and water restoration business—a company he built from the ground up. As the sole provider for himself, he has always worked tirelessly to support himself and his livelihood. But now, with his business completely on hold and no income coming in, he is left struggling to afford even basic living expenses.

We are asking for support to help cover his overwhelming medical bills, rehabilitation, and daily expenses while he fights to recover.
