Aid Melissa Tankovich's Fight Against Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
As many of you know, Melissa Tankovich has dedicated her life to teaching and shaping the minds of young students. With a heart full of passion and commitment, she’s inspired generations to reach their fullest potential. Now, our beloved Mrs. Tankovich needs our support as she faces a serious medical challenge.
After years of battling cancer, Melissa has reached a critical point in her journey. Despite her strength and determination, the cancer has persisted, and she now needs another surgery on March 24th to overcome this long-standing battle. The road ahead is uncertain, and while we all know that Melissa is resilient, this surgery will require a long and difficult recovery.
Following the surgery, Melissa will need to stay in the hospital for around 14 days to recover and receive the medical care she needs. This extended hospital stay adds a significant financial burden, as it will not only impact her ability to work but also lead to higher medical costs. Additionally, due to the complexity of the surgery and the extended recovery time, Melissa will be unable to return to work for the remainder of the school year. This means she will miss out on vital income during a time when medical bills and other expenses will be mounting.
Anyone that knows Melissa knows she would never ask for help, as she is one of the most selfless and giving people around. She has always put others first, whether it’s her students, her family, or her friends. But now, it’s our turn to step up and help her through this incredibly challenging time.

I am launching this GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of medical expenses, recovery, and living expenses during this time of need. Although insurance may cover some of the costs, there are still significant financial burdens that Melissa and her family must face. As we all know, cancer treatments and surgeries can be extremely costly, and the financial strain is overwhelming.
