Aid Melissa in Her Healing Journey

I am starting this GoFundMe for my good friend and co-worker, Melissa Hernandez. She is such a strong woman who recently got some really bad news. Going in for a scan on her spine due to extreme pain, they found the big C... Cancer... Not only on her spine, but they also found breast cancer.

Melissa is beginning her first round of chemo treatments as of 4/16/25.

In the last month, she has already racked up a significant amount of hospital bills and is only surviving off disability. She would work if she could, but due to the extremely debilitating pain from her spine, she is unable to sit and walk most of the time, let alone try to work to support herself.

Any and all donations are highly appreciated. If we all pitch in a little, we can help her get through this battle with one less stressor. As a cancer survivor myself, I cannot stress hard enough that finances are never just one stressor. It is "Will I keep my house?" It is "Can I afford my next treatment?" It is "Am I going to be able to feed my family?" She needs to be able to focus on healing, not bills and everything that comes along with that.
