Melissa Nielsen's townhouse was destroyed by a fire around 6am on Sunday 1/12/25 while they were sleeping. Mel was able to keep the fire down enough to allow them to evacuate, but she sustained injuries. Her boyfriend was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. They lost their beloved cat to the fire.

Melissa lost all of her belongings in this fire and currently has only what she had in her car at the time.

We know how hard Mel works and cares for her clients and patients. I am hoping we can show her the same support to get her back on her feet.
