Hello, my name is Megan Stroud. I am a full-time mother, wife, and nursing student. I also work part-time for McLeod while going to school. My husband, Scott Stroud, was killed unexpectedly in a MVA on 10/25/24, causing many issues for my little family. I attempted to return to work a week following his passing but wasn’t emotionally ready to do so. I have since returned to school by pushing myself to finish since I know he would’ve wanted me to, and I know I need to finish school as planned for my daughter and myself.

I financially cannot afford to not work but would like to be able to stay home to focus on school and my daughter with the absence of her step-father (which is the only father she has ever known). So, in an attempt to do this, I decided to start this GoFundMe. I would like to stay out for the rest of this year and return to work in January 2025.

Money from my goal is set to help pay for bills and groceries until I am able to return to work.
