Aid Megan Greene and Newborn in Recovery

My name is Tracy Greene. As many of you know, my daughter Megan Greene was attacked while leaving her nursing job at Trumbull Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 15th. A man tried to hijack her vehicle; he pulled her from her car, grabbed her by the hair, and punched her in the face over 20 times. She tried to jump back into her car and he managed to pull her out halfway again and pushed her to the ground while being trapped in between the door. He climbed over her into the car and got it into reverse, almost running her over. At this time she held her hand on the brake and the horn drawing attention to the situation while he assaulted her. I can't tell you how very proud I am of her. My daughter was pregnant and due on September 27th. She fought him off, protecting her baby the best she could from an attack that lasted almost five minutes.

He ran off when neighbors ran her to aid and a security guard finally noticed what was happening. I can't tell you what a devastating call this was to receive!

She works hard every day to care for the people of this valley.

Now she needs our help while she recovers. Her precious baby had to be induced, and I'm happy to report that she seems to be doing well. She had a little girl, who's beyond precious.

Megan, who anyone who knows her will tell you, is ferociously independent. She's an amazing momma to her kids. But she's not going to be able to return to work for a while. She's going to need help paying the medical bills this has caused, and a bit of help with her bills until she can get back to work. So I'm asking you, people of the Valley, to help my daughter through this difficult time. And to also please, say a prayer that she and the baby continue to heal and that justice is served in this case.
