My name is Alyssa & my godson Maverick is undergoing another surgery this week. This little boy is quite the trooper. He was born with a heart condition (Tetralogy of Fallot), which was resolved (for now) back in March when he was 3 months old. Last month, Mav came home from a family vacation and started vomiting. He had liters of bile and liquid drained out of him. He had emergency surgery to remove an obstruction from his intestines and appendix. He was there for two weeks and he hasn't been right since. He is going in for another emergency surgery Wednesday, Nov 19 to hopefully get this all resolved. Katrina is an amazing mother who stays with Mav every night, works during the day, and then repeats it all the next day. Brandon is an incredible father who supports and keeps the family going.

We all know that this time of the year is hard - financially, mentally, and emotionally. I am asking for thoughts, prayers, and anything you are able to give. With Maverick being in the hospital last month and this upcoming visit, Katrina & Brandon aren't able to be at work as they previously were. We appreciate anything you can help with!
