Hello, my husband and I are trying to raise funds for our neighbor who got badly injured on his job. He is an independent contractor, so he is self-employed. He endured a 7 hour surgery repairing his left arm, multiple stitches in the armpit and down his side. Possibly needs a second surgery. His name is Matt and is a very genuine guy. He will probably be out of work for a while, while recovering and doing physical therapy. We wanted to hopefully help him out and try to get him back on his feet. Anything will help. Please spread the word and let's show our support

Update: He is having difficulty with a few things, I uploaded new photos of the wound. The area has not been healing as well as we thought. As we go through this journey it is sounding like a longer recovery process and a longer time off period which is of course not the best.

Let's keep him in our thoughts for some good news and positive thinking. Please consider helping him out. Anything helps!!

Update(8/14/25) : Matt's condition is still not the best, unfortunately having nerve issues in that left arm. Also is not able to move 3 fingers on his own. I will keep updating as time goes on.

Update 8/22 : Stitches are out, everything else is about the same. Hopefully he can start physical therapy soon.

Update 9/9 : Matt is still slowly recovering. We wanted to mention we appreciate the support so far. He still has a long ways to go. Unfortunately it is sounding like the nerves in his arm are causing numbness and pain. Otherwise he is in good spirits.
