Aid Mason's Healing and Family Support

I am embarrassed to have to do this. But financially I need some help. I know times are tough for everyone…I appreciate everyone’s kind words, and everyone offering to help in whatever way they can. I just don’t know what anyone can do to help us right now. I have been struggling for the last few months in not knowing how to help him, or what else I could possibly do to help him. I am trying to believe that I have tried to do everything I possibly could.

I have already used all my vacation and sick time over the last few months and have worked a lot less hours to try and be there for Mason and get him as much support as I possibly could. Mason has a great professional support team. They assisted me in helping him get some help.

Mase is a great kid. An old soul. Funny as hell, and one of the most thoughtful kids I have ever met. I feel lucky to have him as my son. I know that everyone that meets him loves the shit out of him. I know teen years are hard, for anyone, but I also know it’s way harder when you have a mental illness.

He is currently admitted to the hospital. For his mental health He went willingly, and I am forever thankful that he made that choice on his own. I am unaware when he will get out, and currently i cannot tough it out to go to work, and I’m trying to be there to support the girls. I am unsure what the next few months will look like.

i did get to see Mase before he was transported, he seemed more himself, and we laughed and joked:

i know that we will probably qualify for fmla, but I would like to try and save that for when he is home, and being able to support his after all this. I know this is going to be a very, long time of healing and care.
