On the afternoon of February 9, our brother Mark Jones, was in a head on collision on the Parks Highway in Willow after hitting black ice. He was medevacked to Providence Hospital in Anchorage. He is incredibly lucky to be alive with no broken bones or internal injuries. However, he does have a traumatic brain injury that will require significant rehabilitation and a long recovery of unknown duration. As the owner of a small, seasonal business, Mark’s financial resources are limited. His extensive medical care, lack of insurance, and inability to work have created a situation that causes us to reach out to the community for help.
