On Saturday, August 9th into Sunday August 10th, the Milwaukee, Wisconsin metro area experienced record rainfall and flash flooding. Our very own Marc Cohen, Administrative Assistant Extraordinaire and friend to everyone, and his lovely wife, Wendy, were severely impacted and are still without power as of Monday midday. Due to their home’s proximity to the Milwaukee River, they have standing water and raw sewage in their basement. Everything in their basement will be destroyed or lost. See images added of items and damage. All fridge contents will be spoiled given extended loss of power.

Marc has heard insurance will cover nothing (he will continue to contest this) and they are needing to replace their washer, dryer, furnace and air conditioner due to water damage. Thank you for considering a donation to help cover clean up and replacement costs. Every donation, big or small, is helpful!

Lastly, Marc is not aware we are organizing help. Anyone who knows Marc realizes he is likely too busy taking care of his Father, his friends and his fellow congregation members right now…that he would never dream to ask for assistance. All the more reason to give what you can. We will assure every dollar goes to Marc and Wendy. Any surplus will be returned or gifted to help others they know personally who are unable to cover flood damage costs.
