Hello friends, this is Mangue Sylla, Guinean Dundun player in New York, and former member of Le Merveilles de Guinée. I am writing because I need your help, again. Most of you already know, but for those of you who do not, I received a diagnosis for a life-threatening disease 2 years ago. I go for bi-weekly infusions and have had 3 major surgeries so far. There is no cure, only treatments, and this has been a massive blow to me and my family.

Many of you have been there for me and my family throughout this time. We are extremely grateful for all of the love and financial support we have received. Thank you! But as my medical bills keep coming, we are in need of more support. Additionally, I am desperately trying to see my elderly mom and my family in Guinea, and I need to receive some traditional treatments from 3 specific elder healers in Guinea and Guinea Bissau in the next month.
