Since my baby's photo has been going viral on Facebook, I want to explain exactly what happened...

On Wednesday around 7-8 PM, my daughter was dropped off. (The first 2 pictures as you can see was an hour prior before dropping her) After spending time with Aniya's (Essence's) 2-year-old daughter, l picked her up around 4:30 pm got home around 5.

When I took off my baby's shoes and socks, I realized her skin was literally peeling off. I immediately cut off her pants, and that's when I saw boils and severe burns all over her lower body. (The pictures following after the first 2). I called Essence right away. She ignored the first call, and when I finally reached her and asked what happened to my child, she gave a story claiming she made soup, left it on the coffee table, walked away, and came back to find it spilled.

Yet only my daughter ended up looking like this.She told me she "saw a red mark," put Aquaphor and ice on it, and still let my child continue playing. But anyone can see that is physically impossible-with how severe these burns are, my daughter wouldn't have even been able to walk, let alone play. I asked her why didn't she take my daughter to the hospital she said it didn't matter because it wasn't that bad when she had her. My baby is now suffering from 3rd-degree burns and additional injuries caused while she was in the care of Aniya Trapp (Essence). I cannot understand how someone could allow this to happen-or possibly do this— to an innocent child. LET ALONE A 1 YEAR OLD !! I will get justice for my daughter. This situation is far from over.
