My name is Madison Wyatt, I'm 28 years old and a mom of a beautiful 4-year-old daughter. My health has been declining significantly over the past few years, and over the past few months, it has landed me in several emergency rooms, urgent cares, and doctors' offices with little to no explanation. Recently, however, I started making progress on figuring out what was going on. It has come with weekly appointments, and now multiple extremely expensive tests. I have now officially been diagnosed with one chronic illness and I'm in the process of talking with a geneticist and potentially being diagnosed with one or two more as well.
We have been dealing with some financial trouble for the last several years, but they have been significantly worse the past 6+ months with everything going on.We've been trying to get back on our feet for the last couple of months, but with my medical issues, that has been almost impossible. With medical bills coming out weekly, trying to keep up with the minimum payments on others, and constant doctor's appointments and testing it's hard to even know what to expect on a weekly basis.
and now my poor little girl has been dealing with some weird health issues the past couple of weeks. that has landed us in urgent care for the second time. she's now being sent to her doctor for a full blood panel, ultrasound, and a referral to two different specialists to see if they can figure out what's going on. Her doctor was able to figure out what was going on and has been able to help her get some relief! She is still not 100% and still dealing with a lot of the same issues so they're wanting to monitor her for the next week or so and hopes that she improves 100%. If not we have to take her back for more imaging and testing to see if there's something we miss and if there's an underlining condition causing the issue she's been having over the past several weeks.
I'm thankful for this opportunity and to be able to finally figure out what's going on. It's still very discouraging and disheartening at the financial burden it's putting on my family. Any help would be greatly appreciated and would all be going towards medical bills. These medical bills are doctor's appointments, x-rays, ultrasounds, genetics testing, blood panels, tilt table tests, CT scans, emergency room visits, EKGs, a multitude of medications, mobility aids, and unfortunately much more. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped so far it has been an overwhelming blessing!
