My close friend Callie’s 14year old daughter is scheduled to have a major spinal surgery called Anterior Spinal Correction. Due to her young age, they have chosen to avoid rods or fusion of her back. Therefore, they will be traveling to New Jersey to see a specialist. There are substantial medical costs associated with the procedure, as the specialized surgeons DO NOT accept insurance. Callie and her husband, Brad, are doing everything they can — but are struggling to do it alone.
