Hi, our names are Jose & Lenny. We are creating this GoFundMe on behalf of our dear friend and colleague, Luis Mata, whose family is going through an unimaginable heartbreak. Luis has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. As you can imagine, this prognosis has left his family devastated, both emotionally and financially.

Luis is the breadwinner of his family. He’s worked at the United Nations for over 20 years. Now his wife, Yanilda, has to step up and support them until he gets better, which includes his 3 young children: Joel, 6 years old; Yandel, 15 years old; and his daughter Eva, 12 years old.

If anyone can find it in their hearts to help this family during this time, it would be greatly appreciated. We all know how hard it is to raise a family, and Yanilda and Luis need all of our love and support right now. Thank you.
