On the morning of February 16th, crews from Louisa County Fire and EMS responded to a structure fire with possible entrapment. During the incident, fire conditions inside the structure rapidly changed and three of our brothers were injured. While two of them were able to escape with minor injuries, Lt. John Foster received 2nd and 3rd degree burns that will require ongoing care and missed work.

While workman’s comp will likely be able to cover a portion of his salary, we all know that it will not be enough. We are looking to raise funds to assist with monthly bills, food, and any other issues that may arise during his recovery. Lt. Foster risks his life to help the public…let’s return the favor and help him and his family.
