HELP US FIGHT FOR LOVELYN (LALA)
Every prayer, every peso counts.

Dear family and friends,

We come to you today with a heavy heart to share the story of my youngest sister, Lovelyn — or as we fondly call her, Lala.

Lala is a devoted wife to Edelmar and a loving mother to their seven wonderful children. Their family is known for their deep love for the Lord, faithfully serving through music. If you ever need a dose of joy and inspiration, look up their group, the “Seven Lee Siblings,” on YouTube. They travel from church to church, sharing their music ministry, always accompanied by their ever-supportive parents who lovingly guide and encourage them.

Aside from this, she is a speech pathologist, and although therapy can be very expensive in the Philippines, she has always been willing to give free sessions to children whose families cannot afford such treatment.

But behind the beautiful harmony is a painful reality.

For the past several months, Lala has been silently suffering from heavy, continuous bleeding. Despite the pain, she kept working — not wanting to burden others, and needing to help her family financially. She pleaded with different doctors for a hysterectomy, but they warned her that if cancer was present, surgery could trigger its spread. So she endured… until the pain became unbearable.

Last week, she was admitted to the hospital. There, they found a rapidly growing mass in her cervix. After a full set of tests, our fears were confirmed. Lala was diagnosed with Adenosquamous Carcinoma of the Cervix, an aggressive form of cancer, which has already spread to her external iliac lymph nodes. It’s now considered late stage 2 to early stage 3.

Her oncologist explained that this type of cancer is extremely aggressive — it “feeds” on the body, quickly draining strength and weight. Lala was advised to eat well and build up her strength in order to withstand the coming battle — a 9-week treatment plan involving chemotherapy and possibly more.

She started chemo immediately after her consultation. The medical team acted swiftly, but so did the expenses — and now, we are struggling.

We are a family of four sisters, bound by more than just blood. Our mother, in her love and wisdom, tied our umbilical cords together when we were born, believing it would bind our hearts in unity for life. And truly, we feel each other’s joy, sorrow, and pain, even across the distance. This time, the pain has struck us all deeply.

We are holding on to faith — that God is in control and that He can work through the hearts of people like you. So today, with humility, we are asking for your prayers, your encouragement, and if possible, your financial help.

We’re short on funds to sustain Lala’s treatment and support her family during this critical time. If you are able to help in any way — no amount is too small — it will mean the world to us. Please also consider sharing this message with others who might want to help.

You may reach out to us directly for donation details or updates on Lala’s condition.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with us in this fight. May God bless you abundantly more than you could ever imagine.

With love and gratitude,
Lucille, Elisa Joy, and Lowelyn
