Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I’m reaching out to share the story of my extraordinary mother-in-law who has dedicated over 30 years to educating and shaping young minds. She is not only a passionate teacher but also a loving mother to my wonderful fiancé and doting grandmother to four grandchildren. Her unwavering dedication to her family, students, and community is an inspiration. Every time Ben and I are out and about in KC, we are always stopped by a previous student of Lori’s who asks how she is and reminds Ben how much of a difference Lori made to them and how she was their favorite teacher.
Recently, last week, Lori experienced a devastating medical emergency—a massive brain bleed that has turned her world upside down. She was immediately taken in for surgery and hospitalized and is now facing a long road to recovery, requiring inpatient rehabilitation and ongoing medical care.
While she is showing incredible strength and resilience, the financial burden of this unexpected crisis has become overwhelming. Between medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and everyday living expenses, the challenges she faces are not just physical but financial as well.
We are humbly asking for your help during this difficult time. Your donation, no matter the amount, will go directly towards covering her medical expenses, therapy, and support for her daily needs. More importantly, it will give her the peace of mind to focus on healing and regaining her strength without the weight of financial worry.
This educator has given so much of herself to others—her students, her children, her grandchildren, and her community. Now, it’s our turn to give back. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can help her overcome this challenge and return to the life she loves so dearly.
With gratitude,
