On June 7th, we took my mom to the ER for what we thought was just a flu, but she ended up with two types of pneumonia. This event happened while we were on vacation in Seattle and because of her condition, she hasn’t been able to get transferred to Miami, where she and most of the family live.

It’s been a month and a half since my mom has been in the ICU. My dad has been there with my mom the whole time since then. My sister has been with them for the past three weeks and between my brothers and I, we’ve been rotating to go and be with them. We don’t know anyone in Seattle and we’re not sure how long more my mom will need to be there for.

We are looking for help to make this process a little easier to help pay the extra expenses that we currently have like hotel, transportation,food, etc.
