Aid Loki's Hospital Recovery Fund

Hello, my name is Bella. My partner, Rachel & I, are creating this fundraiser to help raise money to pay for Loki’s hospitalization & procedure.

Loki is our baby boy & the absolute sweetest black cat you’ll ever meet. He loves to travel with us & is always up for an adventure despite being a shy boy. His favorite past time is playing fetch & chasing his brothers around.

On April 15th, earlier today, Loki had shown signs of discomfort & pain after struggling to urinate multiple times within the hour. He was crying out & did not look like himself. We had rushed him to an emergency veterinary hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the doctor was unable to get him to urinate on his own. We ultimately had to go through the procedure to unblock Loki. He is currently being hospitalized right now and will continue to be monitored the next few days so he can receive medication. We are hoping that Loki will be able to be discharged by this Thursday (4/17/25) and will be able to go back to being his sweet, loving self; however, with the condition we suspect Loki has developed (feline idiopathic cystitis or FIC), this will require life-long lifestyle changes and preventative care.

If you choose to donate, all funds received will go directly towards paying Loki’s hospital bill, medications to go home, and the prescription diet he will require from now on to manage his FIC. No contribution is too small - even sharing this page (whether it’s through social media or person to person) makes a difference. Our family has gone through some difficult changes this year, including a layoff and loss of a family member, so your help is greatly appreciated.
