Aid Lloyd in Healing and Covering Essential Bills

Hello friends & family.
I’ve never started a GoFundMe for myself…it’s always been for other family members and friends. But, as circumstances will have it, this one is for me.
As many of you know, I work for Mercy as a critical care ICU nurse. I love my job and feel like I’ve truly found my passion for helping others through their difficult times.
This past week, I’ve been hit with two major life events that have put me and my family in a financial bind. On August 30, I was involved in a motor vehicle collision that has cost my family thousands. Then, to add to that, on Wednesday morning of this week, I broke my left foot in two places.
I have appointments next Monday with orthopedic specialists here in Springfield that will determine my prognosis and whether or not I’ll need surgery to recover from this injury.
As a nurse, I work 12 1/2 hour shifts, on my feet, for high acuity patients who are very sick. These series of events have taken me off of work for at least two weeks, perhaps longer. I’ll know more details about that on Monday.
As we all know, the bills don’t stop…and now there are more bills to pay, all of them medical. We are living paycheck to paycheck and have exhausted our savings due to Jordan’s surgery last month and now this.
I am humbly asking for your help. Anything helps, no matter the dollar amount. I’m not sure when I’ll be released to go back to work and items like rent, car payments, and insurance have to be covered, let alone the medical bills I’ve accrued.
It is with humility and hope that I might be able to raise the funds necessary to help pay off these expenses so that we don’t go into debt and fall behind.
If you are able, any donation would be extremely appreciated. All I want is to be able to provide for my family and my patients and their families.
Thank you for reading this, and I would ask that you share it on your social media platforms if you feel comfortable doing so.
With immense gratitude,
