Linnea "Linn" O'Neal was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Metastatic Breast Cancer. She was diagnosed with breast cancer which was terrifying enough, but they found a spot on her clavicle which was positive.

Before the last diagnosis (Stage 2), the doctors had a treatment plan similar to what many hear: chemotherapy, surgery & radiation. She began intense chemotherapy called "Red Devil". Linn's white blood cells dropped so quickly that they stopped chemo for two weeks. On July 11, 2024, another biopsy was conducted on her stomach. Unfortunately, that biopsy was positive. She was given the devastating news while also being told the former treatment plan was cancelled as it would not help. The cancer will never go away and it will remain in her body until it ultimately takes her life. However, they prescribed two (2) chemo pills which she must take for the rest of her life. These pills have very similar side effects to the intravenous method - low energy, difficulty focusing, brain fog, and extreme tiredness. Due to this illness she has had to give up her second job which she relied upon to help with monthly finances. She is a single mom with two (2) children in college and is the sole supporter with no family close-by and very little family in Illinois. As you can imagine, the medical bills are astronomical.

Anyone who knows Linn, knows she is the first to want to help others. Her sunny side is comforting to us all, and we are setting up this Go Fund Me Account in hopes that we will raise funds so a second job is not necessary and she can work at her own pace during this difficult adjustment period.
