Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to the world to help me help my daughter. Her name is Lindsay and she's been through a lot in her life. Right now, she has been in and out of hospitals and physical therapy rehabs for over a year. It wasn't until August that we found out she was suffering from heart failure. This led to more time in a hospital bed, with excessive fluid build-up throughout her whole body, leaving her bedridden. She was finally making great progress and was transferred from the hospital to a physical therapy rehab center. However, after just a month there, her insurance cut her off. She's been trying to apply for Medicaid to help at least pay for the facility, but so far she keeps running into one roadblock after another. For 8 physical therapy sessions of 30 minutes, it's $1,200. As a retired widow, this is a cost that I just can't help her with. So, I'm asking for help to be able to provide her the tools she needs to get back on her feet.
