Our amazing coworker and friend, Linda Velo, is going through an incredibly difficult time. On August 3rd, 2025, a devastating fire completely destroyed her apartment, taking with it all of her personal belongings, including cherished family heirlooms.

Linda is safe, but the the next day, Her beloved pet, Cymba did passs away. She has lost everything, and the emotional and practical challenges of starting over are overwhelming.

Many of us know Linda for her incredible thoughtfulness and strength. She’s not only a dedicated member of our team and a pillar of our department, but also a loving mother who raised three wonderful men. She is the kind of person who remembers your favorite dessert and goes out of her way to make it for you.

Now, it's our turn to show up for her. A few of us have come together to organize support for Linda as she grieves and rebuilds her life. Please join us in extending your kindness and generosity to her during this challenging time.
