Hi! My name is Lily and I'm hoping to raise some money so that I can have the ability to have my wisdom teeth removed ASAP to avoid the risk of serious infections. My two lower wisdom teeth are heavily impacted and I will require surgery to have them removed. In addition to that, dental anesthetic doesn't work on me and doesn't get me fully numb, so I have to be put under general anesthesia in order to comfortably undergo the procedure. This was made evident to me when I had my upper left wisdom tooth removed and I was in an immense amount of pain and discomfort due to the anesthetic not fully working. However, in order to receive general anesthesia to have my remaining two wisdom teeth removed, I was quoted $2,600 in order to do that, which I cannot afford to do right now. I currently work in a general dentist office as one of two dental assistants, but unfortunately our office does not offer to put people under, nor do we have an oral surgeon, hence why I was referred to a specialist. At this point, I'm dealing with an immense amount of pain daily along with intense headaches and migraines (which are only caused due to my wisdom teeth sitting right on my nerve and pushing up against my 12-year molars). Dental health aside, I've also incurred a fair amount of medical debt over the last few years due to the frequency of which I've had to visit the emergency room because of my heart. I've been formally diagnosed with arrhythmia (irregular heart rate), tachycardia (chronically fast heart rate), palpitations, and POTS most recently. These chronic health issues all affect my ability to work, which, as you can imagine, has been incredibly frustrating and defeating. I'm only twenty-two years old and already faced with the fact that I can't work full time, which is what I need to do in order to pay my rent, utilities, and to buy groceries and other essentials (although I do work full-time anyways and have constant flair-ups because of it). As I mentioned before, I work as a dental assistant at a general dentists office, and I would like to add that I also DoorDash when I can in order to make some extra cash. All of this is unfortunately not enough, however. On top of all of that, the doctor I work with injured his hand at then end of February (2026), and I was out of work for the entire month of March and part of April, leaving me only able to DoorDash for income. I am back to work now, thankfully, but I am now having to play catch-up and am struggling much worse than I was before. My lease is up next month and I'm extremely anxious and worried that I won't have enough for moving fees and everything that goes into that. I am really struggling and so, so defeated. I ask that if you have anything to spare, even if it's only $1, that you please donate so that I can do my best to live a normal life without the looming burden of medical debt. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for whatever you're able to donate.
