My name is Lily Alonso and I have had a difficult year healthwise. At the beginning of the year, it was an infection in the right foot that seemed to heal by April 25 and I went home and resumed working my Accounting job for 3 months but the wound reopened and turned bad by August 15 as the infection was in the foot bone. Amputation of right foot and leg was recommended which I underwent August 22nd. Because I was sick at the beginning of year, I used up the annual insurance 60 day limit for skilled nursing facilities. I am in need of covering private pay caregiver expenses along with the large Copay to pay for the mobile chair I am very much in need of. Any help will be much appreciated so I can continue the healing process until I am able to progress to the step of getting fitted and trained on using a prosthesis.
