Libby Peedin, was diagnosed last week, with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer that has metastasized to her Abdomen and outside of her Colon. Libby is a strong Christian lady of great Faith. She is the Praise and Worship leader/Minister at Oakridge Church of God of Prophecy in Goldsboro, NC. That is a position that is very important to her.
Her oncologist has recommended Chemo followed by surgery then more Chemo to battle the cancer, but that is something that Libby is not completely comfortable with at this time. One of the side effects of the chemo is neuropathy of the hands and feet which could be permanent. That would prevent her from being able to play the piano anymore and that's not a gift she is ready to sacrifice at this time. She has researched alternative medicine such as Ivermectin and Phenbenzadole which have been used for years on animals to destroy parasites. It has now been proven that, in humans with cancer, the two drugs will destroy the cancer cells the same way. Taking the combination of the two along with a clean, organic, no carb, hi fat, diet, has proven successful in hundreds of thousands of people.
Libby was scheduled to begin Chemo, June 2nd, but after much prayer and searching for God's guidance, she feels she should put it off at least a couple more weeks to see if the Ivermectin and Phenbenzadole improves her blood markers.
Unfortunately, insurance doesn't cover any alternative medicine and it can get expensive. Even if Libby does decide to do chemo at a later time, she is going to continue with the Ivermectin and Phenbenzadole as well as a clean, healthy diet. Libby's medical insurance would not cover all the expenses if she does do Chemo. In addition to that there will be several trips back and forth to Duke, meals and possibly overnight stays if she should have to travel out of state to meet with Doctors who specialize in alternative medicine.
Libby is on a fixed income. Like many of us, she simply can't afford to be sick. Unfortunately that is a stark reality in our world today. So many people have reached out to offer prayers and encouragement and requests for anything they could do to help during this time.
If we are able to raise some money to assist her in these expenses, I know that would remove a great deal of stress from Libby and allow her to focus on her healing.
No amount is too small. If you are unable to help financially, please keep her in your prayers. Her family and I know a God that is carrying Libby through this and we believe He is going to be doing a healing very soon. Thanks so much everyone. Love you all. #TeamLibby #ISpeakJesus
