Aid Leslie Indreland's Medical and Travel Costs

Leslie’s story: Leslie Indreland is a ranch wife in Red Lodge, MT. Her husband, Eric, has been there for her every step of this ride. Leslie is the mother of 3 beautiful children, Rain(16), Laramie(15) and Holden (12). They are often found busy with sports, 4H livestock, and ranching. Leslie has been serving the Red Lodge community as a nurse for over 20 years.

After several months of fighting complications from removal of her gall bladder, the doctors spotted some lesions in Leslie’s lungs while doing a scan of her upper abdomen. Leslie endured many more scans, lavages and biopsies to help the doctors determine the kind of lesions they were facing. Due to the complexity of the case, Leslie and Eric decided it was best for her to seek care from a specialty hospital in Seattle. In the past 6 weeks, Leslie and Eric have flown out to Seattle where Leslie has undergone two major lung surgeries, not to mention the several additional flights they’ve had to take for pre- and post-op appointments. The doctors were able to remove the cancer from her lungs by both lumpectomy and lobectomy procedures. Histopathy reports have come back as adenocarcinoma of both the left and right sides of her lung. They did receive great news that the cancer was diagnosed at a Stage 1, meaning clear margins and all lymph nodes removed were clear of cancer! Praise Jesus!! Future treatments are yet to be determined and will be based on the typing they will receive from further testing of the nodules removed. One thing we know for sure at this point is that Leslie will soon need her thyroid removed as it is also causing health issues. The 3rd, and hopefully final, procedure!

Leslie and her family are staying strong through this emotionally and physically exhausting time. And Les will be back to her normal busy body in no time. With God’s grace, the mountain they are climbing will soon be all downhill. We are asking for your monetary donation to help the Indreland’s with the travel expenses and some of the care expenses that have accrued and will continue to accrue through this journey. The stress alone of having such a diagnosis and undergoing so many procedures and treatments is more than most of us can fathom. We don’t always understand what God’s plan is in such journeys, but we can have peace in knowing he is walking it along with them. The way that we as friends of the Indreland’s can do to help is lift them up in our prayers for a speedy recovery and happy long life to follow!! As well as helping them with the financial burden of this walk they are on. Thank you for your ever-present love!
