Support for Legaci’s Siblings — Healing After Tragedy

On October 10, 2025, our hearts were shattered when five-year-old Legaci Deshawn Howard-Taylor was taken from us and tragically killed in an act of senseless gun violence in Dayton, Ohio. Our family suffered an unimaginable loss.

Her bright smile, gentle spirit, and playful laughter touched everyone who knew her.

In an instant, her joy was taken from this world — and her two siblings lost not only their sister, but a piece of their childhood.

As the family faces unimaginable grief, this fundraiser has been created to support Legaci’s mom & siblings in the days and months ahead. Donations will go toward:

• Relocation expenses; safe housing and family support while they rebuild stability after this loss.

• Therapy and grief counseling to help them heal emotionally.

• School and basic needs as the family navigates this difficult transition and relocation.
