Aid Lee's Fight: Ensure His Family's Well-being

My name is Lee. As I turn 40 this year, I find myself in a challenging situation. I am a parent to two wonderful kids. A little over 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. I had it removed but it quickly came back and advanced to stage 4. It was removed from my hand, arm, lungs, and hips. It’s currently still in my hips and on my diaphragm. I’m sure the next scan will show it in more places. It’s not going away and will keep returning. There are countless doctor appointments, radiation, chemo, and days of intense pain that prevent me from working. I'm currently on disability as my only income.

I'm on here asking for help because I wasn’t prepared for any of this. I put off getting life insurance and now it’s too late for that. My dear mom is always covering me where I fall short. I don’t think I have enough time left on this earth to correct my financial mistakes and make sure my daughter and mother are ok when I’m gone. I had to cash in my 401k to live until disability kicked in.

I want to leave my family in the best shape I can. I want to be as little of a burden as possible.
