AID Lebanon - Food Boxes, Tablets and School Needs
Who Are We
We are a group of Lebanese friends based in Beirut and Seattle who were heartbroken with the devastating Beirut explosion in the midst of an unprecedented economic crises. Streets that were filled with our memories are now left in ruins.
We worked together to cofound AID Lebanon; It's a Lebanese locally registered NGO working hard to support the underprivileged families of Lebanon. Our group was cofounded by our president Mohammad Mansour, and co-founders Rasha Fattouh, Hassan Balaghi, Shaza Abadi, and myself Hala Karaki.
We assist families in two main ways:
- Essential Needs
- Keeping Students in School
Why this Campaign
An explosion, a pandemic, and a currency that has lost over 500% of its value has driven the poverty line to 55%. To put it simply, the situation is bad.
Much of schooling has shifted to online learning. With the rising poverty rate, many students lack the financial means to get access to computers. This places them at risk of dropping out.
And so, we started this campaign to enable our international followers to contribute and help families in Lebanon.
Where Your Money Will Go
We've helped 100s of families so far but we need your contributions to keep going. AID Lebanon will use your donations to continue providing:
1. Food Boxes
2. School Supplies: Bags, Stationary, Books
3. Tablets to allow students to attend their online sessions.
100 % of your money from this campaign will go to beneficiaries. Operational costs are covered by other funds. Keep an eye out here for updates and follow our work on Facebook and Instagram. Al Arabi Tv covered some of our work. We've linked it here for your reference.

How Your Money Will Get to Lebanon
We started this campaign to enable our friends and international followers to contribute and help families in Lebanon. For transparency, the money will be withdrawn into the organizer's (Hala Karaki) US bank account then wired to the charity in Lebanon. We will keep you updated here on where your money is spent.
Anything Helps
Any donation no matter how small helps. Even if you can't donate, consider sharing!
Thank you!
