Hi! My Name is Miranda Cook, I am creating this GoFundMe for my dad and mom, Laura and Bobby Cook.

On June 22nd, 2025, While on Vacation in Georgia dad started not feeling good, mom decided to take him to the hospital cause the pain in his knee was so bad. While in the ER dad's Blood pressure was severely low and had to be admitted to ICU. Over the course of the night mom got a call at 3am stating dad had an episode and is now on a ventilator and possibly could not make it. Dr's Had discovered that dad was in septic shock from an infection in his blood. Dad's kidney's shutdown on top of being in septic shock. Dad was able to come off the ventilator after a week and half but still remains in the hospital on dialysis as his kidneys are still not functioning correctly. Mom has not left his side this entire time and has exhausted all her leave at work as well as Dad as he just started a new job. I am asking for any help to keep mom with dad as long as she can and medical bills after he is home! Anything can help!
