Hello everyone! My name is Selena. This go fundme is for my nephew Lameel. He has a heart condition called Cardiomyopathy. Unfortunately, it is not curable. We knew that this time would come, but not as quickly as it did. Today while at school, his heart stopped. As you can imagine this is a phone call that no parents want to receive. The amazing staff at Palmer Elementary jumped into action and started CPR right away and got his heart to beat again. He currently is in the pediatric ICU awaiting the next steps of needing heart surgery. It is going to be a long road to recovery and healing for Lameel. If you know Lameel he's an active boy who loves his trains and cars, loves to run around and play, and loves to speak his mind! He definitely knows how to give you a good laugh when you need it the most. We are asking for any donations that can help my sister (Laura) and Brother in law (Jameel) with any bills and upcoming expenses as they have 5 other kids as well. Also, any prayers are appreciated as well!

As we move forward, we’ve learned that Lameel will unfortunately need a heart transplant in the future. We don’t know when, and that uncertainty is incredibly hard, but we are preparing day by day and giving him all the love, care, and support he needs.
