Support for Laiden’s Recovery
Laiden, our beloved nephew and a vibrant two-year-old, suffered a cardiac arrest on July 5th and was subsequently diagnosed with myocarditis. Due to the resuscitation efforts and the resulting lack of oxygen to his brain, Laiden has sustained extensive brain damage. The full extent of his condition is still being determined.
Laiden faces a long and challenging road to recovery. Once he is stable enough to be discharged from Ruby Memorial Children’s Hospital in Morgantown, WV, he will require extensive therapy at a rehabilitation facility. The hospital is over an hour away from their home, adding to the family’s logistical and emotional burden.
Laiden’s parents, who rely on a single income to support their family, have two other young children: Landon, who is four, and Grayson, who recently turned one. This situation has put an enormous strain on the family, both emotionally and financially.
We are seeking to raise funds to help alleviate some of the financial burdens they face, allowing them to focus on Laiden’s recovery. Any support, whether it be a donation or sharing their story, would be deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please keep Laiden and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
