If you don’t know her, Kristi Thomas is one of the strongest, kindest, and most selfless people you could ever meet. She’s the type of person who puts everyone else’s needs before her own and still manages to brighten the lives of those around her. Unfortunately, Kristi is now facing the most difficult and heartbreaking season of her life.

Over the past year, Kristi has battled ongoing health issues, chronic ear infections, sinus infections, bronchial infections, and more. In May 2025, Kristi woke up with a lump the size of a grapefruit on the left side of her neck. After months of misdiagnoses and being sent home by multiple hospitals, a biopsy finally confirmed the devastating news: Kristi has oropharyngeal cancer, including one malignant squamous cell carcinoma tumor, along with several benign tumors.

She recently underwent major surgery to remove the tumors. The procedure left her with severe injuries to her neck, and she now faces a long and painful recovery. Currently, Kristi is unable to perform many of her daily activities or lift even light objects, making it impossible for her to work or care for herself without help. Doctors expect her recovery to take three months, possibly longer.

This fundraiser will help cover:

Medical bills and treatment costs

Living expenses while she is unable to work

Safe and stable housing during her recovery

Transportation to and from medical appointments

Financial aid for medical procedures, copays, etc...
